My craps story...
Without getting into the complicated rules of craps, let me just say that one person gets to roll the dice until he or she "craps out". This is done when a 7 is rolled after the point number has come out.
On my very first time at a craps table, I was nervous to roll the dice. I worried that I might throw too hard and fling the dice off the table (ahem) or that I might knock over some chip stacks. The very first roll was a 7. Everyone wins. 2nd roll... 7! 3rd roll... 7! 4th roll... 11, everyone still wins! 5th roll... 7! 6th roll... 3. Now, that means that everyone loses their initial bet. At this point, I have yet to roll a come out point.
The dice were pushed back to me, but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to roll again because everyone just lost. I look at Jason, and he looks at me. Then, he grabs the dice and flings them down the table. It was brief, but there's a puzzled look on the dealer's face. The dice were pushed back to me again. Thinking it's his turn, Jason grabs the dice again and tosses them. Again, the puzzled look on the dealer's face. This time, he pushes the dice to Jason. He keeps on rolling until her craps out.
Later, it occurred to me that I never crapped out. Jason had taken my turn. We went over this again and again, and we confirmed that Jason stole my dice. No worries, he still won me some money. Jason has a better story, and I hope he posts it here.
