Thursday night is garabge night. Usually, the garbage can is packed to the rim. This week, with Jason in Mexico, the bin is barely half full.

Conclusion: With Jason out of the house, there is a lot less garbage here.

A few weeks ago, I saw a dime laying on our doormat. it just sat there for a few days with nobody bothering to pick up the free money. I thought it would be funny to crazy glue it to the mat and see the confused looks of anyone who would try to pick it up.

The dime stayed right where it was for about another week. I don't know if anyone had tried to take it yet. But this morning, the dime was gone. All that was left was a little stain from the adhesive I used. All that setup for nothing.

In other house pranks related items, Jason has left for Mexico this morning. I actually snuck into his bag and stole all forms of government ID he was carrying. I also placed a small bag of white powder into a secret compartment. Saturday could be a fun day at the US border.

It's always a blessing to live at 5824. Blessing just keep pouring in. In fact, thanks to the recent storms, the poker seat closest to the little Christmas tree now has an automatic drink dispenser. But it only serves water. And it only works when it's raining. But at least you won't have to tip the waitress.

Today as I'm getting ready to head to the LV, I drove by Casino San Pablo and I saw a sign that said 'March Madness televised here.' I hadn't been in there for a long time, so I forgot what the inside looked like and I wasn't even sure they had a lounge area for tv's, so I decided to check it out, to see if CSP might be a viable location for March Madness 2006.

There wasn't much there. Just a few big screens around the poker tables and smaller tv screens around the perimeter of the big room and bar area, but no real place to sit and watch games. Besides, there is no sports wagering at CSP.

Casino 5824 would be a better sportsbook. I can offer some interesting propositions.
Over/under on dunks by Hakim Warrick in the first 2 rounds: 5
Over/under on missed free throws by JJ Redick in the second half of the first game: 1
Washington will make the Final Four: 6-1
First score of any 1st round game will come on a goaltending call: 35-1
A backboard will break during a game in the Syracuse region: 50-1
A game winning desperation shot will be made from inside the opposite key: 70-1

Place your bets now.

for jason...

i knew a guy in high school that memorized PI up to 100 numbers. we all thought he was a big nerd. that is certainly not the case here.

happy PI day (3.14).

not to be confused with inverse PI day (7/22).

Tim said I am John's bitch. I must agree.

In 3 consecutive tourneys:

1) I was dealt KK. I went all in. John had AA. I lost.

2) I again had KK. I went all in. John had AK. 10, J, Q on board. I lost.

3) I had A7 with K Q 7 A out. In fury mode, I go all in. John has AA. I cried.

At least these beats didn't come online, where I would have lost $5,000. Good old Casino 5824, where the stakes are low and entertainment value is high.
